touching light

Radiance

The Sun finds a way to shine a beam of light, every afternoon,
through the shrine room window. Here, Lila is gathering the exploding star's particles which traveled 93,000,000 miles to reach her hands.

Catching De-light

Illuminatium

The gayatri mantra seems appropriate here:

oṃ bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ

tat savitur vareṇyaṃ
bhargo devasya dhīmahi
dhiyo yo naḥ pracodayāt

  • om - all- encompassing sacred sound
  • bhū - earth
  • bhuvas - atmosphere
  • svar - light, heaven, space
  • tat - that
  • savitur - stimulator, rouser, name of a sun-deity, deva, God
  • varenyam - fit to be worshipped, desirable, excellent
  • bhargo - glory effulgence, radiance, lustre, splendour, glory
  • devasya - of God
  • dhīmahi - may we attain, set, bring forth
  • dhiya na - our prayers, thought, meditation, devotion
  • ya prachodayāt - who may stimulate or set in motion
