Wow, that sure was a... massive week (more like
several lifetimes) of preparations for our 3 hour
Koothambalam cheer leading for Siva event.

It is really so sad how many people were accidentally turned
away due to a really absurdly- dreadful communication mishap.
It has taken me a few days of decompression from it all
but i think I'm almost there. We discovered once again that
we need an EVEN bigger space (temple) next year.

Seems the only thing left to say is:
om triyambakam yajāmahe sugandhim pushTivardhanam,

urvārukamiva bandhanān mrrityormokshiya māmrritāt.

We worship Siva - The Three-Eyed (tryambakam) Lord (yajamahe);
Who is fragrant (sugandhim) and nourishes (pushti)
and grows (vardhanam) all beings.
As the ripened cucumber (urvarukamiva) is liberated (bandhanaan)
from its bondage to the creeper when it fully ripens;
May He liberate us (mokshiya) from death (mrityor),
for the sake of immortality (maamritaat).

Whooping it up while smashing coconuts at the end
was a big hit, as always and Janaki's infinite iddlys
were stellar.
